They inject him with a serum that is supposed to awaken the latent mutant genes. Upon accepting, Wade is taken to Ajax (Ed Skrein) and Angel Dust (Gina Carano). Heartbroken, he leaves Vanessa without a warning so she does not have to go through the pain of watching him die.
